Frequently asked questions

Will this preserve the original layout?

Markdown is a reading format. Text order and headings are retained where the PDF exposes them; exact typography, positioned columns, and visual design are reported as limitations.

What about scanned PDFs?

An image-only page may produce little or no text. OCR is a separate workflow and is not silently applied by this page.

Can I select pages?

Yes. Use a comma-separated list and ranges such as 1-3, 6. Invalid or out-of-range values are reported before the run.
