Does it preserve Word page layout?

Markdown keeps document meaning rather than page geometry. Headers, footers, floating text, and exact pagination may become notes or warnings.

Are images downloaded?

When the image option keeps assets, the result lists them and the ZIP action packages them with the Markdown.

Can I edit the output?

Yes. The result textarea is the source for both the preview and the downloaded Markdown.
